Online Food License/ FSSAI registration in India- A detailed process

Here is the detailed registration process for FSSAI license/registration-

  • FSSAI registration application can be started by submitting Form A (Registration Application) or Form B (State and Central License Application) to the Food and Safety Department, or by registering online through the FoSCoS site.
  • All required papers must be submitted with the application. At the time of filling out the application, it must be submitted to the Food and Safety Department or uploaded electronically to the FoSCoS site.
  • The Department has sixty days from the date of receipt of an application to accept or reject the application, and the refusal must be communicated to the applicant in writing.
  • If the application is approved, the department will provide a registration certificate that includes the applicant's name, registration number, and photo.
  • During business hours, the certificate of registration shall be displayed at the FBO.

Types of Food license in India
