An Overview- Online APEDA registration in India

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, or APEDA, was established in 1985 in accordance with the provisions of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985, with the goal of promoting and developing the export of scheduled products.

According to the APEDA Act and the Central Government, the Agricultural and Processed Food Items Export Development Authority/ APEDA strives to encourage the export of scheduled products. When it comes to the export of scheduled products, APEDA registration is required.

Documents required for APEDA registration.

Following documents are required for APEDA Registration :-

  • Application Form for the APEDA Registration that is completed and duly signed.
  • Copy of the Import-Export Code issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
  • Bank Certificate that is duly signed by the concerned authorities.
  • Account statement for the last 2 months of the firm’s bank account.
  • Cancelled Cheque.

APEDA Online Registration Process

Exporters can apply online by following the processes outlined below:

    Go to the APEDA website and select "Register as Member" from the drop-down menu.

    Fill in the essential information, such as your CODE, email address, and phone number, and then submit.

    A One-Time Password will be issued to your e-mail address and mobile number, which must be entered on the screen before clicking Submit to proceed.

    Fill out the online application and upload the relevant documents after the verification is complete.

    By returning to the website using the supplied OTP, the online application can be completed in one or more sessions. .

    The registration fee is Rs. 5000/- (excluding taxes) and can be paid via Debit Card/Credit Card/Demand Draft

    An application number will be generated after the payment process is completed.

    Login details will be given to the exporter's registered email address after the RCMC is issued.

    The status of the RCMC application can be viewed by clicking the “Track Application” link

    If the application has any flaws, the exporter must monitor the status and resubmit the document online.

    The final procedure is for APEDA officials to approve RCMC, after which the Certificate can be obtained through APEDA Login

FAQs on APEDA Registration

APEDA is an organisation established by Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export development Authority Act, passed by parliament in 1885. It aims to help the industries relating to export of Scheduled products.
